Course overview
Mercer has been advising multinational companies on employee mobility issues for more than 20 years. Building on this knowledge and experience, we have specifically designed these Expatriate management training courses to assist HR professionals who have responsibilities in managing expatriates. We offer two levels of expatriate management training courses: introductory and advanced.
Why attend?
The introductory course, Expatriate compensation management: From concept to delivery, gives participants an overview of the key concepts of international assignment management. The course lasts a day and a half (except in Frankfurt where it is only one day) and discusses both the traditional expatriate management models and ideas and combine these with the actual reality of international assignments and their key challenges.
This training course has been specifically designed for newly appointed managers in the area of expatriation, beginners in the field of international expatriate management and appropriate for mobility professionals who need a refresher.
The one-day advanced course builds on the fundamentals covered in the introductory course and offers further in-depth knowledge into the key trends and challenges facing the field of international assignments. This course examines expatriate management trends, policies and practices around the globe.
This course has been designed for participants who have previously taken the basic expatriate management course and/or expatriate managers with significant experience in the area.
