H1N1 swine flu - Health advice line
Mercer has negotiated an arrangement with a third party to provide a H1N1 (swine flu) clinical advice line. We recognise that many companies may not have access to their own occupational health services and in a pandemic situation may require access to up-to-date advice and clinical information regarding their employees and swine flu.
As we anticipate that swine flu is likely to be seasonal, the service is designed to be a temporary solution and is therefore available on a three-month contract basis.
How the service will work
A telephone advice line will be available between 9 AM and 5 PM to provide advice to designated line managers and human resources team members on the following:

The advice line will be staffed by qualified occupational health nurses, with the support of a senior occupational health doctor. In addition, a dedicated email address for written queries will also be available for out-of-hours enquiries.
