What is Mercer MPA?

Powerful performance analysis software that provides comprehensive analysis of institutional investment managers’ past performance against their peers, the Mercer median or a relevant benchmark over customisable time periods. As the output is in either graphical or tabular form, it is easy to interpret and can be used directly in internal reports, or externally in marketing presentations or requests for proposals. The database contains over 25,000 institutional investment products sorted into over 290 universes with the data sourced directly from our Mercer GIMD^TM. Mercer GIMD^TM  covers over 3,700 investment managers and over 20,000 strategies, representing substantial coverage of the institutional market. Traditional and exotic asset classes and regions are included with a continually expanding coverage of alternative asset classes.

Who uses Mercer MPA?

Over 250 investment manager subscribers use the system to compare their performance and more than 100 of our Mercer GIMD^TM subscribers with US $3 trillion in assets under management use the system. This subscriber base includes pension funds, government agencies and multi-managers who, among others, subscribe to the database with a view of investing in the products available.

Mercer researchers and consultants also use the tool to carry out quantitative analysis on investment products.
